Living Well Today founder and visionary Michael Payne is an internationally recognized authority on nutritional rehabilitation. In 2002, Mr. Payne founded Living Well Today as a nutritional case management firm specializing in autism, auto-immunity, and children's wellness. Two years later, in 2004, he established Spectrum Biogenics, a premier nutritional supplement company, to create innovative formulas for neurological inflammation and brain disorders. This gave Living Well Today the capability to analyze diseases, conditions or disorders, create effective protocols and treatment options -- providing patients with a personal road map to recovery.
A certified nutrition specialist and rehabilitation counselor, Mr. Payne is formerly a successful investment banker. After suffering from various neurological and autoimmune conditions that lead to disability, in order to recover his own health, Mr. Payne entered the emerging field of functional medicine, graduating in 2000 with a MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from VCU/Medical College of Virginia. He is a Board Certified Specialist with the American College of Nutrition, with continuing studies with the Functional Medicine Institute in Gig Harbor, Washington. Mr. Payne serves on the advisory board of Xymogen Scientific.
Mr. Payne has contributed to several textbooks and is a well-respected authority and sought-after lecturer on the topics of functional medicine, Autism, and pain management. In 2007, he has outreach clinics planned in up to 30 U.S. cities and Australia.
